Why Donations are Important

The City of Paducah oversees nearly 30 parks, an accredited police department and 911 center, a professional fire department, and many more programs and services that enhance the quality of life for those who live, work, and visit this beautiful river city.

You can help support our efforts by making a tax-deductible contribution to the City of Paducah. Consider donating to honor a life well-lived or to acknowledge an important milestone.

Paducah has been honored and supported by various donations including funding from Mrs. Pat Brockenborough for the development of the Pat & Jim Brockenborough Rotary Health Park, an endowment from the Boyles estate to extend the Greenway Trail and provide matching funds for grants, and the creation of the Peck Education Trail at Noble Park funded by the estate of J. Lane Peck. Furthermore, the original donation of land from Robert Noble established Bob Noble Park, a centerpiece for our entire community.

Tax-Deductible Donations

Charitable contributions to the City of Paducah, as a government unit, are tax-deductible under section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code when made for a public purpose. No goods or services, in whole or in part, will be received in exchange for this contribution; therefore, the full value of your contribution is deductible for income tax purposes.
