Paducah Parks & Recreation is accepting registrations for the Paddle Up Paducah Pickleball Tournament. There will be three divisions: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. The cost to register is $25 per person.
Paddle Up Paducah will be at Paducah Middle School located at 342 Lone Oak Road. Men’s and Women’s Doubles will play Saturday, August 20. Mixed Doubles will play Sunday, August 21. Duos will need to provide their skill level, which are 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, & 4.0. View rating descriptions on www.usapa.org or www.ifpickleball.org. Skill level divisions may change based on enrollment. Participation is intended to be a friendly, non-sanctioned tournament for pickleball players in Paducah and the surrounding area to help grow the sport within the community.
The Early Bird Deadline which guarantees each player a t-shirt is Friday, July 28. The final day to register is Thursday, August 11. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have a partner for the event and will need to provide the name of their partner when registering. Players must be ages 16 and up.
