On Tuesday, July 18, Murtco, the contractor working for the City of Paducah, will begin repairing a collapsed storm pipe in the intersection of Friedman Avenue and Afton Avenue. This intersection is in a residential neighborhood behind Clark Elementary.
Paducah Street Division crews will assist with traffic control during the project and will be closing the intersection as needed to facilitate the work. The repair project is expected to be completed by the end of day on Friday, July 21 or earlier, weather permitting.
Please use caution, watch for the work crews, and respect the traffic control devices.
The City of Paducah maintains more than 220 miles of streets.
