Beginning Monday, October 6, both lanes of Pines Road at the intersection with Woodland Drive will be closed to traffic for a storm sewer project. Residents who live on Woodland Drive on both sides of Pines Road will not be able to access Pines Road. This project is expected to last through Friday, October 10.
A contractor working for the City of Paducah, Jim Smith Contracting, will be replacing existing drainage pipes at the project location and adding new structures to improve overall drainage.
Signs will be in place informing the public that no through traffic is permitted. Please use caution, watch for the work crews, and respect the traffic control devices.
