Reserve Your Garden Plot


The community garden is located in the Pat & Jim Brockenborough Rotary Health Park. The park is located at 14th and Madison in the historic Fountain Avenue Neighborhood.


2024 Season:  March 15 - October 31


Registration begins February 1 for the 2024 season for gardeners who had a plot in 2023. Returners can only reserve plots they had in 2023 during this registration window. Beginning February 12, garden plots will be available for new gardeners on a first come basis by calling 270-444-8508 or register in person at Paducah Parks & Recreation Office. A Garden Plot Application must be filled out completely and returned to the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office when making your reservation. Beds range in size and are available to reserve for one growing season.  A $20 Refundable Cleanup Deposit is required with this reservation. This deposit will be refunded after the season if you clean up your garden bed by removing any plants, stands, or other materials from the dirt. You must pick up your cash deposit from the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office. 


  • Large Plot (17' x 3') - $50/season + tax
  • Medium Plot (13' x 3', 12' x 3', 11' x 3', 11' x 4') - $40/season + tax
  • Small Plot (10' x 3', 8' x 3') - $30/season + tax


An optional Winter Season Extension (November 1, 2024 – February 28, 2025) is available for $10 + tax for registered gardeners who had a plot for 2024. They must register and pay by October 31, 2024 to participate in the winter season. Winter season participants will have until February 28, 2025 to clean out their plot.
